Free Standing Lace Angel.

After the popularity of my previous angels it is time for a Free Standing Lace one. This angel is the same size as all my other angels so some of the designs can be mixed and matched. Although a FSL version she can still be stitched on sheer fabric like tulle or organza. There are designs within this set for making a flat angel, flat angel with dimensional wings or a standing angel. The loop for hanging is optional. The skirt for the standing angel is a large design, it will take a while to embroider out, but I have set colour breaks in suitable places so that the bobbin thread can be changed and not spoil your lace. I suggest that you bring up your bobbin thread at the start of every colour way for the perfect stitchout. This angel requires a smaller support than my previous ones. The standing angel can be supported with some clear plastic under her skirt. I trimmed a plastic folder to do this. The instructions include how to construct the standing angel as well as lots of tips and tricks. There is a plain white colour way, another with a hint of colour in the bodice and hair and an angel with the halo coloured gold, which could be stitched in metallic thread. Where the designs stop for bobbin checks, extra colours can be added.
