These distinctive machine embroidery designs capture the beauty of this Norwegian folk art. After visiting Norway many years ago and having the privilege of wearing the beautiful Hardanger Bridal costume with its intricate Norwegian embroidery I have long wanted to digitise some designs to capture Rosemaling which translates to "decorative painting". Every area of Norway has its own distinct style. This collection does not capture a specific area. These little designs celebrate my 6th Anniversary and will look great embroidered on black or navy fabric.
