Romantic Crazy Christmas Tree

The Romantic Crazy Quilt Christmas tree is embroidered with lots of beautiful ornaments. The main tree is created in 7 hoopings along with a template for easy positioning. You will need a large 240mm x 150mm hoop to embroider these sections out. If you have a 12" x 8" hoop the tree is stitched out in 4 hoopings. The tree can be embroidered out with just applique fabric, with or without the motif fill stitches and without the decorations. There are also three different types of securing border stitches for the fabric pieces: plain satin, slightly feathered and an open pine needles. This enables you to be able to customise and create your own original tree. The finished tree is approximately 16.5” high by 14.25” requiring a large piece of fabric 23” x 20” to allow plenty of room around the edges. There is also a smaller tree which can be stitched out in a 8" x 8" hoop or in 2 hoopings using a 5" x 7" hoop. All 12 decorations come as individual designs too so you can do your own decoration or fill in gaps!
Back the pieces of silk dupion before you begin with Heat and Bond Lite, or something similar, to prevent fraying.
