Celestial Grace 4.
15 designs for 300 mm x 200 mm (12" by 8") hoops.
These designs are roughly based on my earlier Crystal Star designs. I have added a lot more features and elements to them including some blended scrolls which have a patina effect, the green film that develops on copper and bronze over time. This is regarded a beautiful weathering and I am delighted that I was able to capture it in these embroideries. I experimented with several combinations, concluding that Sulky Rayon 1055 Tawny Tan and 1204 Pastel Jade were the best combination. There are a variety of stars in these designs and one colour way has the assigned a metallic thread. I prefer to use just a small amount of metallic thread and to embellish with hot fix crystals and stars. >Details on how to embroider the corner scalloped design in this set, are given in the accompanying PDF. The first design in this set is ideal for a centrepiece, like a jacket back or cushion. Design #5 will make a great vertical panel of embroidery. There is a small wreath in this set and design #12 and #15 can be used to create a horizontal border. I enjoyed the challenge of design #13 which is star shaped. There are five sets of designs in the whole collection which can be purchased at a reduced rate.
