Celestial Grace 2.
15 designs for 180 mm x 130 mm (5" by 7") hoops.
These designs are roughly based on my earlier Crystal Star designs. I have added a lot more features and elements to them including some blended scrolls which have a patina effect, the green film that develops on copper and bronze over time. This is regarded a beautiful weathering and I am delighted that I was able to capture it in these embroideries. I experimented with several combinations, concluding that Sulky Rayon 1055 Tawny Tan and 1204 Pastel Jade were the best combination. In this set I have developed the elements from the first set. Design #10 and #11, both linking designs work well together for a panel and design #2 will also create a simple border. There are a variety of stars in these designs and one colour way has the assigned a metallic thread. I prefer to use just a small amount of metallic thread and to embellish with hot fix crystals and stars. Details are given in the accompanying PDF. There are five sets of designs in the whole collection which can be purchased at a reduced rate.
