During the Regency era, ladies were passionate about needlework, producing exquisite, sculptural whitework. While machine embroidery often results in perfectly uniform motifs, my aim with this collection was to capture the charming diversity and artistry of hand embroidery, reflecting its unique, textured beauty.There are three versions of each design, crafted for 30wt cotton, 40wt rayon, and 60wt cotton, each creating a distinct visual effect. These whitework designs evoke the delicate hand embroidery style familiar to Jane Austen and her contemporaries during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries
