45 designs for mixed hoops.
I have been asked to create suitable designs for borders for quilts made with my Marianne embroidery blocks. There are two styles, the first one shown is 96mm wide, that is just under (4") wide and other 122mm wide, just under (5") wide with a cornerstone design for each. As well as using the cornerstone designs in the corners of your quilt border, use them between the designs in the borders so perfect alignment is not necessary and adequate spaces can be introduced to perfectly fit your quilt. Every design can easily be placed accurately with the use of my Outline alignment stitches. Many of these designs will need to be rotated to fit your work. The instructions will list how the various designs interact. I have included gaps between the candle-wicking stitches to make this easier for you. As you can see these designs come in a variety of sizes but you will need at least a large 240mm x 150mm hoop to be able to embroider the borders. As well as the border designs you will find a variety of designs which can enhance your quilt as well as being useful for other projects.
I have even included 6 quilt blocks for 260mm wide hoops.(N.B. Most designs now will convert to all the usual formats. Check the PDFs in the Download tab above, for actual design sizes to confirm that you have the hoops to accomodate the designs.)
