Cassandra was Jane Austen’s beloved sister and they were both extremely gifted embroiderers. Having visited their home at Chawton, Hampshire, these two tone embroidery designs are what I imagined Cassandra might have created as she embroidered alongside her sister. These larger designs work perfectly on their own but can be used with smaller designs to create pretty combinations to fit the shape of your project. Although this collection is a white work one, the designs have been created with two colours of thread. You can embroider them in just one colour or try various colour schemes as I have here with a dark ecru thread. There are five sets of designs in the whole collection which can be purchased at a reduced rate.
